About Your Stay

Double B Ski club is a communal share lodge for all areas except bedrooms. The lodge has a friendly atmosphere and we hope that you can become a part of that during your stay.

Checking in and Out

Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 3pm. Entry is done via a key pad combination – so no need to worry about lost keys!

Kitchen

Double B is a self-catering lodge, with a large communal kitchen. There is a large commercial refrigerator and a free standing freezer, two fan forced electric ovens, two gas cook tops, two microwaves, two toasters, and two sandwich makers. The lodge also supplies complimentary tea, coffee, and some condiments. Each guest has designated cupboard and refrigerator space (based on bedroom number) in the kitchen to keep all your food stuffs and drinks separate!

Being a self-catering lodge, you’ll need to provide your own food and drinks. There is a supermarket in the village (5 minute walk) where you can purchase pretty much everything you may need on the mountain, or alternatively bring it up with you.

Facilities

Double B is equipped with hydronic heating throughout as well as a gas fire in the open plan living and dining area. There is a CD player, an iPod dock, and radio in the living area as well.

There is no television (we love the culture of not having the telly playing! If you do need a TV there is one at most of the bars in the village). The club does have free wi-fi with documented guidelines on fair usage.

We have a large drying room and ski storage area. There is also an outside undercover BBQ.

What to bring
  • Groceries (you can get them from the village supermarket as well)
  • Bed linen (bottom sheet, pillow case and doona cover) – We will provide a pillow and doona.
    Alternatively linen can be hired at a small fee if discussed with the booking manager and/or lodge manager prior to your arrival.

  • Towels – We don’t provide towels for sanitary reasons, so please ensure you bring your own!
Duties

As a communal club lodge, our accommodation style is different to a hotel. Each room has allocated duties to perform prior to departure. Guests must clean their room and remove all food from the fridge and cupboards before departure.

Rooms:

On arrival a bedroom will be allocated to you. The booking board is in the front foyer above the phone. The bedroom allocations are fixed by the booking manager prior to your arrival. Double B has 9 bedrooms with the following configuration:

5 bedrooms with 2 single beds each. One of these bedrooms has a vertical bunk.
1 bedroom with 3 beds in a double/single vertical bunk.
1 bedroom with four single beds and a pull out trundle bed.
1 family bedroom with four beds in a double/single vertical bunk and a single bed.
1 family bedroom with five beds in a double/single vertical bunk and two single beds in a vertical bunk.
